Innovative approach for esthetic ceramic restoration from preparation to cementation
HANDS-ON COURSES
12 Dec 2025, 14:00 PM - 20:30 PM Riyadh -Saudi Arabia Area of interest: General Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Resident
Pricing & Registration

Abstract:

This hands on highlights an innovative, evidence-based approach to esthetic ceramic restorations  from precise tooth preparation to optimal cementation. Emphasis is placed on minimally invasive design principles, selection of appropriate ceramic materials, and adhesive protocols that ensure strength, longevity, and superior esthetics. Through clinical guidelines and case demonstrations, participants will gain practical insights into achieving predictable and natural-looking outcomes in modern restorative dentistry.

Objective:

1. Specific :
To provide dental students and recent graduates with a strong foundation in the theoretical and
clinical aspects of ceramic veneers and crowns, including indications, material selection,
preparation techniques, and an introductory overview of digital smile design in treatment
planning.
2. Measurable
By the end of the workshop, at least 90% of participants will be able to:
• Differentiate between major types of ceramic materials (e.g., lithium disilicate,
zirconia, feldspathic).
• Identify proper indications for ceramic veneers vs. crowns.
• Perform basic tooth preparation for both restorations on typodont models.
• Capture standard clinical photographs and understand their role in basic digital
smile design and case communication.
3. Achievable
The workshop is structured to combine focused theoretical lectures with guided hands-on
practice, allowing participants to apply what they’ve learned within a single day.
4. Relevant
The content is tailored to the needs of early-career dentists seeking to develop clinical
judgment and technical confidence in fixed prosthodontics, with a forward-looking introduction
to digital tools.
5. Time-bound
All learning outcomes will be accomplished during the 6-hour workshop, with participants
completing practical exercises and receiving immediate instructor feedback by the end of the
session.
